Jamie is a writer and academic, operating at the intersection of art and adventure. Instead of spending his gap year travelling through distant lands, he has decided to facilitate adventurous opportunities for others much closer to home.

Throughout his traineeship, Jamie is working towards his Mountain Leader Award, his Bushcraft Competency Award, and his Paddlesport Touring Leader Award.

Following his time here, he intends to progress onto the University of Cumbria’s MA Outdoor and Experiential Learning, where he will continue to refine his creative and ecotherapeutic practice in the context of outdoor learning.

His aim is to enliven others through embodied discourse on the formative power of adventure.
